The East End of Rundle (EEOR), commonly referred to as the lackadaisical Winnie the Poor character by locals, hosts a plethora of stellar trad and sport lines on generally excellent grey rock. The terrain was very loose, it was steep, and it was exposed at times on the way to the summit. Canmore is beautiful, and so was the hike. The trail quickly gains height and follows the edge of the main slope trending north. No scrambling but there is scree at the top. In other months the EEOR hike is considered a scramble however in winter this was not the case and may have even been a little easier than normal, you will need ice axe and crampons though and warm clothes!
