For the Lord is righteous
He loves justice
Upright men will see his face. …
And the words of the Lord
Like silver refined in a furnace of clay
Purified seven times. …
… I trust in your unfailing love
My heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord
For he has been good to me.
-Psalm 11:7, 12:6, 13:5
Facebook offers the option to ‘Like’ whatever is posted on someone’s page. Psalms (tehillim [praises] and/or tephillot [prayers]) are the ‘thumbs up’ of David and others to the person, presence and actions of God. They are the Facebook ‘Like’ results compiled over a thousand years and were in use 300-years before the appearance of Yeshua two millennia ago.
When our generation’s Facebook ‘Like’ results are compiled and displayed in the future, what will they reflect? Will those results reflect the impact of the person, presence and actions of God in the lives of Facebook users?
We are God’s-net in the world. We are a wireless wonder with access to every form of social media. What do you have to say about the person, presence and actions of God in your life? Put it out there – ‘share’ your love of God with all your heart, mind, body and soul – sing about and to the Lord through all media.
The Lord is coming!
