Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill?
He whose walk is blameless
And who does what is righteous
Who speaks the truth from his heart
And has no slander on his tongue
Who does his neighbour no wrong
And casts no slur on his fellowman
Who despises a vile man
But honors those who fear the Lord
Who keeps his oath
Even when it hurts
Who lends his money without usury
And does not accept a bribe
Against the innocent.
He who does these things
Will never be shaken.
In today’s world of madness and mayhem it is difficult to believe that anyone meets all the above qualifications for residence in God’s sanctuary. If you find that you doubt whether you personally would qualify for entrance – take heart. For you have taken the very first entrance test and passed.
The road to God’s sanctuary begins with the acknowledgement of who you are in relation to who He is – and having measured correctly, God has provided forgiveness for failing the qualifications for residence in His sanctuary through Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, as well as the power to ‘do what is righteous’ and qualify in all things through His Holy Spirit.
Whether you have just taken to the road, or have been on it for a while, continue to measure yourself against God’s standards. If you ever find that you fall short of His qualifications, remember His provisions for you and you will never fail – turn, acknowledge your failure, receive His forgiveness, rely on His power, rise up and resume your journey to His sanctuary.
The Lord is coming!
