Surely the arm of the Lord
Is not too short to save
Nor his ear too dull to hear.
The Lord Yeshua is waiting to save all those who call on Him – He is listening very intently for our voice. There is only so much time to turn and call on the Lord, which time He Himself has set because He tells us that on the Day He comes to bring us salvation, He will not be dealing with sin (Hebrews 9:28), and all those who want to be rescued must call on Him before He comes. He is waiting. He is listening.
There is perhaps nothing more terrifying than admitting sin to God. If we ignore admission, we usually believe sin will disappear and if it has ‘disappeared’ long enough we won’t have to deal with it. Nothing could be further from the truth. The only thing hidden/ignored sin does is grow into a monster canker on our hearts and minds. It can do no other until it is laid out bare by our own selves before God, and confessed as belonging to us.
It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are in your walk, take the time to lay your heart before God for examination. When He shows you what you do not want to see, call on Him to save you – He is listening. He has righteous judgment in His heart, mercy in His left hand and forgiveness in His right hand. He will cleanse you, heal you and make you to stand upright in His presence. Be sure that the Lord is on His way, turn, call on Him before the Day of His arrival, so that you can join with all those who ‘are eagerly waiting for Him’.
The Lord is coming!
