The crucible for silver
And the furnace for gold
But the Lord tests the heart.
Have you ever had a broken heart? And once broken, did you say to yourself that you would never let that happen to you ever again? These are the days of the breaking of hearts and all those who know the Lord are to submit themselves to His test. Do not harden your heart. Instead pour it out before God and let it be broken; let it shatter into a million pieces before His throne; let His grace pour down on you and put your heart back together correctly to renew your hope and restore your life.
When was the last time you went before God and emptied your heart before Him? Don’t be afraid; this is a necessary operation if you want to live and walk in His fullness, His way. So many want to be and act Godly but so few are willing to actually lay their hearts before Him so that they can be and do. When He looks down will you be found at the foot of His throne with your heart broken and laid bare?
Turn, break your heart, pour it out before the throne of grace, and let the mercy and grace of God heal you.
The Lord is coming!
